After receiving a mixed response from fans at E3 due to uncanny character designs and general confusion about the vision for Marvel's Avengers, Crystal Dynamics will hopefully reset expectations at San Diego Comic Con. As far as Marvel's Avengers is concerned, at least, another key detail has since emerged.
San Diego Comic-Con 2019 begins on July 18th and will last until July 21st. The panel itself will be livestreamed, but seemingly not the gameplay part.
It's unknown yet whether we'll get a livestream or if Square Enix will release a trailer after the panel to let us non-attendees see it. For now, it is also unclear as to whether the footage shown during the Hall H presentation will make its way online once the panel ends. Come hear directors Joe and Anthony Russo reflect on Endgame and their epic road to it as they segue into life beyond Marvel with their new company, AGBO, which happens to include an exciting array of new and old creative friends. The first public gameplay reveal is coming soon, however, though the definition of "public' is being stretched a little bit". We'll see more from the third person cooperative shooter during the Marvel Games Panel on July 18. The autograph session will be held at the Marvel Games Booth, with the following cast members slated to attend: Nolan North (Iron Man), Troy Baker (Bruce Banner), Laura Bailey (Black Widow), Jeff Schine (Captain America), and Travis Willingham (Thor).
Marvel's Avengers will be heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 15th May 2020.
