Disney star Cameron Boyce's dad shares photo taken hours before actor's death: 'I miss him terribly'

Cameron Boyce passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019, after suffering a seizure related to epilepsy in his North Hollywood home.

"The pain we have endured and are continuing to endure is indescribable, but we are making every effort to move forward and ensure that Cameron's legacy and all that he stood for is honored", The young star's parents shared in their statement.

Cameron Boyce died from natural causes, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office.

"We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely hard time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother".

The final manner and cause will be determined at a later date, the statement said. But first responders could not revive Cameron and he was declared dead at the scene.

He also starred in "Mirrors", "Eagle Eye" with Shia LaBeouf and "Grown Ups" with Adam Sandler.

Boyce's family told People magazine earlier this week that the 20-year-old actor's "tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy". Co-Stars Peyton List, Skai Jackson, and on screen mom, Christina Moore also posted to social media expressing their condolences. He played Cruella De Vil's teenage son, Carlos, in Disney Channel's "Descendants". "You are not alone", wrote producer, director and choreographer Kenny Ortega in response. He was an incredibly talented performer, a remarkably caring and thoughtful person and, above all else, he was a loving and dedicated son, brother, grandson and friend. "Sending love and hugs to his family, friends and his many, many fans". "He will be dearly missed".
