Ahead of his biopic Super 30's release, mathematician Anand Kumar has revealed that he is suffering from an acoustic neuroma, a non-cancerous tumour on the main nerve leading from the inner ear to the brain.

The name of the movie comes from the widely circulated reports that out of the 30 students Kumar prepares for the IIT-JEE entrance, all or nearly all of the 30 students successfully crack the engineering entrance examinations. Given these positive factors, trade analyst Girish Johar predicts a Rs 12 crore opening day collection. She tweeted: "Super 30 leaves you extremely overwhelmed with emotions and speechless with words!" With regard to the word-of-mouth, Super 30 has a positive vibe surrounding it.
The mathematician said that none other than Hrithik could have done justice to the film with his sheer dedication and hard work towards the character. The trailer has struck a chord. So far, the film's trailer has garnered 47 million views on YouTube. It wasn't just Sonali Bendre who loved the film, Yami Gautam, Farah Khan, Patralekhaa also shared the same school of thought. It's not a commercial Hrithik film with song, dance, and action. Super 30, directed by Vikas Bahl, also stars Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi in key roles.
