While the post was supposed to be an apology, Bieber also asked Swift about why she took to social media to talk about her problems instead of reaching out to solve the problems.
"I guess it might somehow be possible that her dad Scott, 13 Management lawyer Jay Schaudies [who represented Scott Swift on the shareholder calls] or 13 Management executive and Big Machine LLC shareholder Frank Bell [who was on the shareholder calls] didn't say anything to Taylor over the prior five days", Borchetta said.
But she's now signed to Universal's Republic Records label, and says signing a new deal with Big Machine would have been used to help encourage the sale of the company. "But, I truly doubt that she "woke up to the news when everyone else did". "Music I wrote on my bedroom floor and videos I dreamed up and paid for from the money I earned playing in bars, then clubs, then arenas, then stadiums", Swift wrote in her post. "All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I've received at his hands for years". "Or when his client, Kanye West, organized a revenge porn music video which strips my body naked". She added that her musical legacy was in the hands of a man who tried to "dismantle it" before, ET Online reported.
"This is my worst case scenario. This is what happens when you sign a deal at fifteen to someone for whom the term "loyalty" is clearly just a contractual concept", wrote Swift.
"I want you to know that I will continue to be the proud custodian of your previous works and will continue to keep you and your team abreast of all future plans for releases of you [sic] work". To deny you the option to own your blood, sweat and tears, especially as a young women who shared growing up in front of the world, is heartbreaking! XO!
Representatives for Braun and Borchetta did not immediately respond to a request for comment about Swift's post.
Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Camila Cabello, Adele, and Gwen Stefani have all have unfollowed Scooter on social media after his acquisition of Taylor's life's work.
Borchetta said he wanted to "set things straight" in a post entitled So, It's Time For Some Truth on Big Machine's website. She wrote a heartbreaking Tumblr post about how deeply saddened and disturbed she was and that "I learned about Scooter Braun's purchase of my masters as it was announced to the world".
Demi Lovato, who's also managed by Scooter, posted support for him on her Instagram story. She wrote on the photo, "This is Scooter Braun bullying me on social media when I was at my lowest point [.] He's about to own all the music I've ever made".
Braun's wife Yael Braun said he was "anything but a bully", adding: "Interesting that the man you're so "grossed out" by believed in you more than you believe in yourself".
Bieber responded in an Instagram post late Sunday apologizing for hurting her at the time, and also defending Braun who he says, "didn't have anything to do with it" and has her back.
