"Ronaldo, definitely, as a kid", Jovic said when asked who his favourite Madrid player was.
After taking photos with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez in the presidential box in front of the media, Jovic made his way out onto the Bernabeu pitch where he was greeted by around 4,500 supporters.
"I'm the happiest guy in the world to sign for such a big club", the 21-year-old said.
"The price does not bring more pressure, I've not really thought about that. Then if I don't take it, it's my fault", he said.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has applauded Real Madrid's decision to sign Belgian football star Eden Hazard from Chelsea in a world record fee.
"I think we're compatible, but Zidane will decide".
Madrid have also recruited Belgian forward Eden Hazard from Chelsea and Brazilian defender Eder Militao from Porto, while French left-back Ferland Mendy is also reported to be on his way to the Spanish capital from Olympique Lyonnais.
Last season he scored 27 goals in 48 games for the German club. "But you wanted to be part of the legend that is Real Madrid and you have fought hard to achieve it".
"This is the start of a new project for the next season", Perez told reporters before Jovic was presented to fans in the Santiago Bernabeu stadium as a Madrid player.
There is expected to be as many as 70,000 in attendance to greet the Belgium captain, whose move from Chelsea is reportedly worth €100m.
