Hear Miley Cyrus Cover Nine Inch Nails' "Head Like a Hole" in 'Black Mirror' Episode

Yesterday, the anticipated episode of Black Mirror's "Rachel, Jack, and Ashley Too", which stars Miley Cyrus in the leading role, was premiered at a private press screening.

The 26-year-old, who claims to have seen every episode of the show, stars in an episode titled Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too, and it looks like it's going to be a good 'un.

With a stellar cast featuring Anthony Mackie (Falcon from the MCU) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Black Manta in Aquaman, providing some Marvel versus DC excitement), the episode tells quite an engaging story involving a Street Fighter-style video game called Striking Vipers, which just got upgraded with a VR mode if played with the fancy TCKR System, which you plop onto the side of your head. Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker reveals he penned new lyrics to be placed over the 1989 Nine Inch Nail track "Head Like A Hole". "Her whole career has been about (being) the Disney pop star who tries to carve out her own identity and as a result has faced a lot of opposition - from her label, and her fans in some respects". "He got it straight away". As such, Brooke made a decision to draw from the collection of Nine Inch Nails, a legendary act fronted by Trent Reznor. "It was via email and he was really happy pretty quickly. He wanted to see the script, and I got to re-write his lyrics in a chirpy way", Booker says in the interview.

Cyrus even posted a photo of her character on Twitter and changed her name to "Ashley O". "In the first song, she's singing, 'I'm stoked on ambition and verve, ' instead of, 'You're gonna get what you deserve'".

Season 5 of Black Mirror is coming to Netflix on Wednesday, 5 June, and we are ready to be completely messed up by it.
