French forward Kylian Mbappe had the flawless riposte to reports that he has sent the Paris Saint-Germain hierarchy a list of demands should he stay at the club, amid links to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Following the advice of his father and agent, Mbappe snubbed the initial approach from Real Madrid and moved to Paris Saint-Germain where he has won back-to-back league titles.
The 20-year-old broke the deadlock in the 11th minute after racing clear and lifting a delicate finish over the onrushing Josep Gomes.
Real Madrid have already been active in a busy transfer market, securing the signings of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao and Rodrygo - with Ferland Mendy set to join the new group in the coming days.
However, Mbappe discovered the tweet and responded: "Sorry you forget something, Kylian Mbappe wants to play goalkeeper".
Twitter account Transfer News - which styles itself as "sharing the most reliable transfer news on Twitter and debunking false rumours" - upped the intrigue this week with a post about Mbappe's alleged demands to remain at PSG.
Mbappe scored his 100 goal for club and country when he netted in France's 4-0 win over Andorra. The claim suggests Mbappe's camp had insisted that he "must" play as a central striker, take "all" the penalties and earn more money from his image rights - a claim the club's number nine jokingly rejected.
