If you're ready to lock in your Luigi's Mansion 3 preorder, we have all the info you need below.

During the Nintendo Direct presentation at E3 2019 we learned about the Scare-scraper, a location within the game that houses multiplayer modes. In addition to this, it was also revealed that the ScareScraper co-op mode will be returning to the series. There is no way this slimey homunculus is anything less than malevolent. No, sorry, sorry we're still not over Gooigi.

Announced in in September last year, Luigi's Mansion 3 will be released sometime this year.

"Luigi's Mansion 3" has been a long time coming for Nintendo fans, but the gang is nearly here.

Fighting and capturing the ghosts to free them, Luigi is now equipped with the Poltergust G-00. You'll have to watch out for water, though, because that's Gooigi's kryptonite -he melts into a puddle of sludge after the slightest bit of contact! It can be played online or locally with up to eight players on four Nintendo Switch systems.

Gooigi's slippery frame means that he can cross spikes and navigate obstacles that would otherwise damage Luigi. Players will be able to enjoy this either through local play or through online. The colors are much more muted on Luigi and the environment, providing a ton of contrast with the colorful ghosts and bosses. This is a slimy version of Luigi that he can evoke himself.

Luigi's Mansion 3 includes two features from the past two 3DS entries, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Luigi's Mansion (a remake of the original game). See our disclosure policy for more details.
