'Hazard Will Fill Real Madrid Fans' Eyes With Joy'

Football: Real Madrid announce Eden Hazard transfer

Twitter reacts after Eden Hazard seals Real Madrid transfer

Spanish newspaper "AS" have revealed some of the performance-related bonuses that could increase Hazard's total price, with the ex-Chelsea player joining Madrid in a deal worth an initial 100 million euros with unspecified add-ons.

He may have left for Real Madrid but there is no ill-feeling towards Eden Hazard from Chelsea, who tweeted some of the Belgian's best off-field antics.

"He's the first Galactico the club have signed in five years so they will have to do that, sell out the Bernabeu to present the player".

Belgium now face Scotland at home on Tuesday in the next instalment of their Euro 2020 campaign with Hazard set to travel to Madrid the following day ahead of the Santiago Bernabéu presentation on Thursday.

During his seven years with Chelsea, Eden Hazard appeared in 352 games, scored 110 goals, made 92 assists and lifted six trophies. The 28-year old has also won two Premier League titles with Chelsea, along with an FA Cup and League Cup each.

The Blues were 4-1 winners against Arsenal in the Europa League final in Baku last month.

"The memories he leaves us with will not fade".

El Clasico the match Madrid play against Barcelona just got that much more interesting as Real Madrid clearly mean business once again after a chaotic season.

"He has been a model professional throughout his time at the club, a wonderful individual to have around and a joy to work with".

"He can then become the player we expect him to be and he'll be key for Chelsea and England once he's back fit". 'Leaving Chelsea is the biggest and toughest decision in my career to date, ' wrote Hazard.

Chelsea FC finished in third place in the Premier League table last term to secure a return to the Champions League after a one-season absence.
