Ubisoft caps off its E3 2019 conference with Gods & Monsters

Gods & Monsters announced by Ubisoft for Switch

'Gods & Monsters' is the latest from the 'AC: Odyssey' team

"Something that transcends the limits we have always set upon ourselves".

In Gods and Monsters players take control of Fenyx, a hero who must restore power to the Greek Gods after they have been stolen from them by Typhos.

Story Creator Mode is based on the story-designer tools and branching dialogue systems used in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Gods and Monsters releases for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Google Stadia and Uplay+ on February 25, 2020.

Check out the short cinematic trailer down below, showing off the game's cartoony but stylish artstyle that is distinctly different from the realistic graphics of the Assassin's Creed series.

To save the pantheon of Greek gods, you have to fight off mythological creatures and their leader in a titanic battle (it might not actually be a Titan, but we'll see).

There's quite a bit to this, so have a read of the FAQ for a full rundown on the Assassin's Creed Odyssey story creator.

Gods & Monsters, at its very heart, is inarguably influenced by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Players will be tasked with helping the Greek gods regain the throne of Olympus, having been thrown down by the deadliest of all monsters, Typhon. What do you think of the game's painted art style?
