It also gave a launch time frame to look forward to - the Galaxy Tab S5 is coming at roughly the same time as the Galaxy Note10.
Since 2014 when the segment was launched, Samsung's Galaxy A-series smartphones have been sold in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. All of the A-series phones are powered by Samsung's One UI, just like the company's Galaxy S devices. Also, it will come with a quad-camera setup a larger display, next-generation RAM as well as UFS 3.0 storage. The update is now available to users in Thailand.
Like the Galaxy A50, the A20 dons a 6.4-inch display but instead of the tear-drop shaped Infinity-U notch, the top edge of the screen features a V-shaped notch.
Only one camera can be found on the rear with 13MP. The update brings One UI version 1.1 to the smartphone. The J7 Pro also started receiving the update to Android Pie last week, with the update spotted in Russian Federation. Earlier, the feature would only enable itself when the camera senses a dark environment but with a recent update, the company fixed it on the S10 series. It will come in an all-new design and if compared to the Samsung Galaxy S10, it will have a much smaller chin.
The Galaxy A50 will be the first to launch in the USA on June 13.
These above-mentioned devices should also get updates for other regions eventually.
