Of course, just like its predecessor, the next ROG phone should include a plethora of accessories to improve the gaming experience like a ROG exclusive gamepad. Hence, the arrival of its successor is overdue.
This will make the ROG Phone 2, the third smartphone with a 120Hz display after the Razer Phone and Razer Phone 2. Now that the company has started sharing official information on the ROG Phone 2, its arrival could be close at hand. The translated post also notes that video game "Under The One Man" will support the new refresh rate, with more compatible titles to be announced later. The firm has also promised that upcoming games will be enhanced to deliver 120 Hz experience. The ROG Phone that had released a year ago supported 90 Hz refresh rate. The Asus ROG Phone, Razer Phone 2, and Xiaomi Black Shark lead the race to your pocket.
Following that somewhat vague revelation, the Republic of Gamers (ROG) division inside Asus took to Weibo once again on Tuesday to disclose a more specific (and arguably more exciting) feature of its upcoming super-high-end handset.
Other rumors point out that ROG Phone 2 will ship with the Snapdragon 855 paired with 12GB of RAM. There might also be an upgraded heat dissipation system and an increased charging speed as well.
For now, all we know is that the Asus ROG Phone 2 will be released in July, but no word on pricing and availability has been given by Asus. Asus till now has refrained from providing an exact date for the launch and whether or not the device will come to India.
