This price cut is valid for a temporary period, and the 6GB + 64GB variant is available for only Rs. 17,999 now. Xiaomi has cut down its prices multiple times, and prior to this "limited period offer" the Poco F1 6GB+64GB was retailing at Rs 19,999.
The Rs 17,999 price tag is for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model that was previously available for Rs 19,999. This model hasn't received any price cut mainly because it was on sale paired with an exchange offer recently. It's price at the time of its launch previous year was ₹23,999.
Xiaomi is all set to launch the successor to its popular Poco F1 smartphone in the next few months. It gathered ₹ 200 crore of revenue in less than five minutes of going on its first flash sale. However, the prices of the 8GB RAM variant and the Armoured Edition still remain the same at Rs. 27,999 and Rs. 28,999 respectively. Talking about its other features, it has a 6.18 inch Full HD plus display.
Fans of Poco F1, however, are looking at an upgrade. This storage can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The phone features a LiquidCooling technology that claims to keep CPU temperatures low even during intense gaming sessions. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. The first price cut happened last December where all variants of Poco F1 were dropped by Rs 1,000. This just might be the best time to grab a new Poco F1 as it can still last more than two years due to the flagship grade internals inside.
The POCO F1 is also available in an Armoured Edition, which uses a soft touch polycarbonate back reinforced with kevlar that makes it more durable and resistant to scratches.
Xiaomi might offer an even cheaper variant of the POCO F1 by offering a "Lite" version of it soon. Slashleaks, a smartphone tipster recently shared a screenshot of the benchmark results on Twitter. Earlier, it was rumoured that Xiaomi Redmi K2 Pro will be launched as Poco F2 in India. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with Adreno 630 GPU.
