Did Montel Williams Just Say What Everyone’s Been Thinking about Wendy Williams?

Despite Wendy Williams' recent personal struggles, her fellow daytime talk-show alum Montel Williams refuses to give her a pass on creating an on-air environment that he characterizes as judgemental.

In March, Williams and The Hunter Foundation launched a substance abuse hotline in partnership with T.R.U.S.T. but has rarely mentioned it on her show since the initial announcement and a subsequent telethon.

The 54-year-old put the charity in place to assist addicts who are trying to better themselves. This was shortly after she revealed that she was staying in a sober home to treat substance abuse.

Earlier this month, Williams seemingly took a jab at Hudson while discussing an interview where Ayesha Curry said her husband, National Basketball Association star Stephen Curry, is constantly fawned over by female fans.

She added that a change from the New Jersey home shared with Hunter has made her to reclaim her life back. She was addressing rumors that she had been seen out in public with a man who "looks like her type". The former radio personality cleared it up by letting her viewers know that she is in fact dating but not her bodyguard. "As a mature, almost-single woman, I like to have fun", she told her audience on Tuesday (May 14).

According to Williams, the stroke was "a wakeup call to go 100 per cent, instead of the 300 per cent I was working at".

"As for our son, Kevin Hunter, Jr., he is now home from college and sees both of his parents", Williams said. "I do date and I date pretty often".

"I'm really reclaiming my life", she said at one point before giving an update on the status of her split.

People reports that she and Hunter have had zero contact because she 'has nothing to say to him.' It's great to see Wendy come so far and separate herself from the negativity that was surrounding her.
