Yesterday, The Mobile Indian spotted the listing of Redmi K20 with its key specifications.
As of now, the company hasn't revealed any other details about its new flagship smartphone.
"Congratulations @OnePlus team! There's a new flagship in town". Xiaomi, trying to be witty congratulated OnePlus on their new flagship launch and also warned saying that the flagship killer 2.0 is coming soon.
You'll notice painfully obvious terms used by Xiaomi to sign off; "Flagship, ' "Killer, ' "2" and '0", which also translates to flagship Redmi K20".
At the moment, the Xiaomi brand has two Snapdragon 855 devices with the Mi 9 and the Mi MIX 3 5G. The image posted clearly indicates that the upcoming phone will be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC.
We have been coming across teasers regarding these phones for the past few weeks but it is only now that the India Head has revealed a seemingly official confirmation about the first Redmi smartphone with the most powerful Qualcomm chipset till date. Towards the end, it showed a new smartphone that comes with a pop-up selfie camera.
"It was speculated that this new flagship will feature a 6.39" Full HD+ display and it will come with a triple-camera setup consisting of a 48MP + 8MP + 13MP combo.
Moving on, Redmi will offer the RedmiBook 14 in 4GB and 8GB RAM variants with 256GB or 512GB flash storage.
As of now the battery capacity and Android version are not listed on the website. However, the company's top management already hinted that the phone will get Android Q beta when it will be officially unveiled. We have even heard that the Redmi K20 would sport a pop-up selfie camera and there has also been a video leak to support the claim.
