Eden Hazard: Roman Abramovich names Barcelona superstar as Hazard replacement | Chelsea transfer...

Football gossip: Hazard, Coutinho, Pogba, Rice, Lacazette

Real Madrid are preparing a special presentation for Eden Hazard, reports Tuesday's edition of Marca. Four key things to know...

"Yes, it is one of my best [seasons] in terms of goals contribution, of course".

Despite the positives, he has remained hugely reluctant to speak about his future beyond the summer and that provides a possible hint that he could eventually seal his dream move to Real Madrid.

The forward came under attack after a disappointing UCL display against former side Liverpool, and has lost the support of board members at the club, sparking concern over his future at the Nou Camp.

French publication L'Equipe reports that the deal was struck weeks ago but can not be made public before Chelsea's season is over.

Eden Hazard has been linked with a big-money move to Real since last summer but the La Liga giants only managed to nab the 28-year-old's team-mate Thibaut Courtois.

Speaking after the end of the Premier League season, Hazard has now given the latest update on his future, telling reporters that he has already confirmed his decision with the Blues.

"I think if they can keep the same philosophy as this season, keep playing football like we tried to do it this season, but in a better way - that's it", Hazard said when asked how the club improve going forward.

"I have made my decision, that's it", he said after the game. I'm still waiting, like the fans are waiting.

In contrast to Di Matteo however, current Chelsea manager Mauricio Sarri insisted yesterday that Chelsea must "respect [the player's] decision". "I told the club a couple of weeks ago", Hazard told reporters after Sunday's goalless draw with Leicester City on the final day of the league season.
