Boston Dynamics turns 10 SpotMini robots into truck-hauling sled dogs

Robotics and engineering firm Boston Dynamics has released new footage of its SpotMini robot, and has done nothing to quell fears of an impending robo-apocalypse. The sound of the robot's metal legs marching on the pavement adds a creepier element to the already ominous video.

The robotics company Boston Dynamics is back with another weird video starring its animal-like robots.

The task was carried out in the Boston Dynamics' auto park, which has a one degree incline making the task a little bit harder.

The dog-like robots from Boston Dynamics are back with another video, albeit this time the video is less focused on virality and more a demonstration of raw power.

The SpotMinis are expected to be used for commercial purposes, so it will probably be a while before we see them hunting down humans in the style of Black Mirror's "Metalhead" episode.

"These Spot robots are coming off the production line now and will be available for a range of applications soon", the company writes in a note accompanying the YouTube video.
