Honor 20 Series Launch Set for May 21 in London

Chinese smartphone maker and Huawei's sub-brand Honor on Monday announced to launch a new "Honor 20 series" globally at a London event on May 21.

This is due to the fact that there is another Honor phone with triple camera system called Honor 20i will also be launched in China on 17 April. The Honor 20 series is going to succeed the Honor 10 lineup that was launched previous year and will allegedly include five handsets - Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20i, Honor 20A, Honor 20C and Honor 20X. As per IANS, these handsets will hit the Indian market later. Powering the Honor 20 Lite is a Kirin 710 processor and it packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

For taking pictures, the Honor 20 Lite comes with a 24MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle lens plus a 2MP f/2.4 depth camera for bokeh effects.

"It will have a 32MP selfie camera, a 3,650mAh battery and run Android 9 Pie out of the box". So far, very few details are known about the Honor 20i, though the company's teasers have revealed the resolution of its front camera sensor. We originally believed that the phone is likely to be the Honor 10i which was already launched in Russian Federation, but it is now actually possible that we might be seeing a different phone altogether.

The device supports dual-SIM and you can add a microSD card on its hybrid SIM tray slot. It is said to be backed by a 3400mAh battery that charges through a micro-USB port and not a Type-C port. The report also suggests there will be two colour options - Black and Aurora - and will be priced around Euro 280 (roughly Rs 22,000).
