Kesari is directed by Anurag Singh and co-produced by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions. The movie which is already the highest opener of the year till now has crossed the mark of Rs 75 crores as yesterday the movie minted around Rs 21.50 crores.
The film is within a whistling distance of Rs 100 crore and a lot will depend on how it does during the week.
In another tweet, he added that solid ticket sales on weekdays will ensure a steady run for Kesari at the box office: "Section of the industry feels IPL 2019 curtailed the growth of Kesari on Sat [evening] and Sun".
