In fact, the Toronto rapper was apparently given a key to the team's newly-named digs, according to TSN's Josh Lewenberg.

The Toronto Raptors took another step in expanding their partnership with OVO and their Global Ambassador Drake on Thursday.

"Drake and OVO are an important part of our city's landscape, our team's identity, and our plans to bring a championship to Toronto", said Raptors President Masai Ujiri.

Now the team's training facility has been renamed from the BioSteel Centre to the OVO Athletic Centre, which Drake introduced to the world this morning on his Instagram.

The new OVO practice jersey will be available for purchase later this off-season. But with his own space in both the Raptors home arena and their practice facility, it's safe to say the team's partnership with "The Boy" isn't going to fade away any time soon.

The Raptors and Drake originally unveiled his role as team Global Ambassador in September 2013 as the NBA announced that Toronto had been awarded the 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend festivities.

Drake has been involved in planning for the 2016 All-Star Weekend at Scotiabank Arena (then Air Canada Centre), the launch of the "We The North" campaign and an OVO-inspired alternate uniform.

Just when you thought the Toronto Raptors' relationship with performing artist Drake couldn't get any Drakier, they go ahead and do something that surpasses all previous benchmarks for Drakiness. The club has also partnered with OVO in the past to release an "OVO Edition' jersey, as well as OVO-themed Raptors apparel".

He has a locker in the Raptors locker room, with a nametag that reads "The Boy".
