All profits will go to the KFC Foundation, which supports local charities who are passionate about developing and nurturing young people.

KFC is opening up the kitchens in 300 of its stores across United Kingdom and Ireland on the 30th of March to not only let people have a bit of a nose around, but have a go themselves.

Those attending the open kitchen will also get an exclusive KFC branded apron and maybe even some chicken cheques (vouchers).

This isn't the first-time KFC has welcomed customers into its kitchens - back in 2017 it kicked off the idea with 100 restaurants on board, but with 300 signed up this year, you've got a better chance of being able to get involved. Put your chicken where your mouth is.

Locations for KFC's Open Kitchen event include multiple outlets in Wales, Ireland, London, the Midlands, Scotland, and the North and South of England.

We're opening the kitchens of 300 of our restaurants across the country.

Fans will be given an exclusive look behind the scenes to see first hand how KFC cooks the Colonel's famous Original Recipe chicken.

At the end of the session, you'll be able to eat the burger you've created alongside chicken, fries, a side and a drink. Chequens? Count us in.

KFC UK & Ireland COO Rob Swain said: "We're really proud of the food we serve, and of all the care that goes into making our chicken taste as incredible as it does".

Some of the tickets for the more central KFC branches have sold out, but there are still loads of branches with tickets up for sale.
