The 49ers have added a wideout to their receiving corps.
The team announced that they've signed Jordan Matthews to a one-year deal.
Matthews was originally taken in the second round by the Eagles in 2014. He registered 20 receptions for 300 yards with two touchdowns through 14 games and three starts with the Eagles in 2018. Matthews caught just 25 passes for 282 yards during his lone season in Buffalo before re-signing with the Eagles last season.
He was traded to the Buffalo Bills before the 2017 season along with a third-round pick for cornerback Ronald Darby.
The wide receiver has caught 270 passes for 3,255 yards and 22 touchdowns in his career.
