Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn’s Telugu debut confirmed in SS Rajamouli’s RRR

The makers of RRR gave the fans a sneak peek of the film's plot and revealed that the film is set in the 1920's and it is a "fictitious story based on two legendary freedom fighters - Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem". "It is through this fictional story we'd like to show what could have happened in their lives and what would have happened if they met and bonded", Rajamouli said. At a press meet on Wednesday, director SS Rajamouli revealed the final cast and the setting of his film RRR. Both of them were really excited to be part of this project. When I wanted to approach Ajay, I sent him a text and he immediately made time to meet. "I don't like anything small and everything will be on huge scale", he said during the press meet. She was willing to take up any part as long as she gets to be part of this project. Now, the official announcement from the makers has spelled an excitement amongst movie buffs as apart from confirmation of Ajay's role, Alia Bhatt too, is roped in for the movie! Talking on the occasion, producer DVV Danayya confirmed RRR will release worldwide on July 30, 2020 in ten Indian languages.

While the makers have chose to retain the title RRR in all languages, the extended titles could differ. Rajamouli has invited suggestions from people on what would be appropriate in different languages.
