Another Amazon device is getting Apple Music support in the US

Apple Music is Now Available on The Amazon Fire TV

Alexa! Play Apple Music on my Amazon Fire TV! Wait... what?

The news of Apple Music coming to the Echo in the United Kingdom comes months after the service launched in the US.

Amazon didn't give an exact date for Apple Music availability, saying only that it was coming "this holiday season" - and unless you consider New Year's Day part of the season, that only leaves December.

To access Apple Music on your Fire TV just ask "Alexa, play today's hits on Apple Music" or "Alexa, play music by Bebe Rexha on Apple Music".

Apple is likely facing stiff competition from rival music services.

Along with this music streaming plan, it's thought Apple could soon launch a similar service for video. Amazon Music, Spotify, Pandora, YouTube Music, and more. After allowing the Cupertino-based company to bring Apple Music to Echo speakers, Amazon now enables even more of its customers to get a taste of the music streaming service.

Apple Music has been available on your run-of-the-mill Alexa devices, namely Echo and Dot and the like, for a while now.

"Apple Music subscribers will be able to enjoy Apple Music's 50 million songs on Echo devices".

Do you use Apple Music? Have you tested it out on an Alexa device?
