Naomi Osaka has split from her coach Sascha Bajin just weeks after the 21-year-old added the Australian Open to her first Grand Slam at the US Open last year, the Japanese player announced Monday.
Osaka enjoyed a remarkable rise up the world rankings after first linking up with Bajin in the 2017 off-season.
"Thank you Naomi. I wish you nothing but the best as well".

Osaka's agent confirmed to The Associated Press that Osaka would no longer be working with Bajin, the 2018 WTA Coach of the Year, but said there would be no further comment.
During that period she won the prestigious Indian Wells tournament before scooping her first major in NY, while Bajin was named WTA coach of the year.
Bajin responded: "Thank you Naomi I wish you nothing but the best as well".
Osaka defeated Serena Williams in a controversal US Open final to claim her first major title last September, also moving into top 10 for the first time.
