Unfortunately, the respect that we have for Nicki was violated by a post that should never have been written. Finally, we apologize to all of her fans. In it, the network said it "deeply apologizes for the hurt, disappointment and confusion" caused by the social media post.
In another post, Nicki thanked her fans for their support, writing.

While Nicki was hearing it from fans for her decision, she received some reassurance this afternoon when her boss, Lil Wayne, said he's standing by her. Nicki shared a screenshot on IG of a text Lil Wayne sent her, saying "I'm with u!" after she told him about canceling the BET show. "We are committed to doing everything we can to address the situation", BET said noting that an internal audit will be conducted to assure these types of posts are not published again.
After the network tweeted a shady comment about the "Chun-Li" rapper, Nicki announced that she, nor her Young Money team, will be a part of their upcoming BET Experience or BET Award show, despite being the headliners for both events. Summer Tour dates dropping soon'.
It comes after Nicki dragged the same Grammys producer that allegedly lied about Ariana Grande's decision to pull out of her 61st annual awards show performance on Sunday. "I don't know what white man from the boards she pissed off". Grammy producer Ken [Ehrlich].
Ariana put Ehrlich on blast last week when he suggested that it was "too late" for her to put together a performance for the show. Less than 24 hours after the initial tweet was sent, the "Barbie Dreams" rapper replied with a tweet of her own.
