Greta Van Fleet wins 'Best Rock Album' award at Grammys

Will rock triumph this year, or will the industry deny guitar-based music once more?

Michigan's Greta Van Fleet took home their first Grammy Award at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The band was up against several rock heavyweights, including Alice in Chains and Weezer.

The band had also been shortlisted join the Best Rock Performance category, which was posthumously awarded to Chris Cornell for When Bad Does Good. The prize went instead to Dua Lipa.

We're saddened that Greta didn't take home the award, but can't wait to see the next time they're nominated.
