After the surprise acquisition of Kevin Prince Boateng since sanctioning the exits of Paco Alcacer and Munir El Haddadi, fans and media alike have questioned the transfer policy of the LaLiga champions.

Although Jovic is on loan at Eintracht from Benfica, the negotiations are with the German club because they have the option to make the deal permanent.

Bild reports that Jovic, who has been in stellar form this season for Frankfurt, has been a subject of a concrete 45 million euro transfer bid from Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old has been a standout performer in the Bundesliga this season and has scored 14 goals, chipping in with a further four assists as well.
