Man Utd keen to land £50 million Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham

United beat Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage to move up to fourth place, but Chelsea could move ahead of the Red Devils with either a draw or win over Manchester City on Sunday.

Pogba was delighted with the team's performance and took to Instagram a few hours after the match to express his happiness with the result.

He told Sky Sports: "I was so happy the first 10 minutes, two great chances, but after we concede that goal, they break the lines, always asking for it behind the defensive line".

The 18-year-old scored 15 goals to help fire Fulham back to the top flight last year and was named as the clubs Player of the Season as well as being voted as the Championship Player of the Season. "I have to say I don't think I would have hit it like he did, so fantastic goal".

Solskjaer is now preparing for the future as the Express suggest United are expected to be extremely active in the transfer market as they look to become genuine title challengers again and Sessegnon has emerged as a target. He isn't acting and he can give joy to everyone and confidence to everyone.

"We've still got a lot to do but the fact that we have been able to get those points and catch up so quickly is full credit to the squad and how we've been playing".

"When you score but don't win it's not the same feeling".

"I changed it because I wanted to put Babel behind the two strikers and put the full-backs around their defensive line. We're very lucky to have a player like him on our team".

"It's a good sign, even though we have to carry on to stay there".

Meanwhile, Manchester United are now preparing for their crunch Champions League last 16 clash against Paris Saint-Germain at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
