Todd Monken will be new Browns offensive coordinator

The Cleveland Browns' coaching staff is expected to add a pair of notable names in the near future.

Wilks, who was sacked December 31 after just one season at the Cards helm, will be the new defensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported. He interviewed for the OC roles with the Packers, Lions, and Browns within the last week.

It hasn't taken former Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks long to find a new gig.

Kitchens will be introduced Monday at noon during a press conference to be held at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Wilks was sacked in December after just one season as the Cardinals head coach, where he led them to a 3-13 record - the franchise's worst in Arizona.

With Cleveland, Monken will work with first-year head coach Freddie Kitchens in developing quarterback Baker Mayfield. This season, he helped create the league's top passing game with 320.3 yards through the air per game. This past season he had the title of run game coordinator in Green Bay.
