Larissa is said to have been arrested. She has been charged with misdemeanor domestic battery with a bail set at $3,000.
The pair have had a seemingly volatile relationship with accusations of Colt cheating on Larissa and Larissa's prior arrest after a fight. Larissa's two previous arrests for domestic violence also reportedly played a role in why cops believed Colt over her.
A GoFundMe page has since been created to help pay for Larissa's bail and legal fees, with a goal of raising $5,000. This isn't the first time Larissa has spoken publicly about the negativity she's found in her marriage. That is clearly abuse; he's baiting her so that she will respond and he will call the police on her.
The description mentions that Larissa "denies the allegations of self harm", which is referencing police on the scene who determined that her injuries did not appear to be caused by Colt because he bites his nail.
The police said that, at the moment, the situation is a "he said/she said", but due to her past arrests, they assume she is the aggressor, rather than him. It's unclear if that is the case.
Larissa also claims she scratched Colt in retaliation, and in a photo Yates shared to Instagram, Colt is seen showing off his bloodied mouth.
UPDATE - TMZ has talked with police and got more details on exactly what went down.
We're told Larissa did have scratches on her stomach, but they appeared to be self-inflicted. Following the fight with Colt, Larissa was all over Instagram sharing photos of herself covered in blood and asking for help. For this reason, Larissa's best friend Carmen has started a GoFundMe account in an attempt to get her out of jail. As of the publishing of this article, Larissa has already raised $1687.
Police say a Brazilian woman featured on a TV show about people who receive USA immigration visas while planning marriage has been arrested and accused of attacking her husband in Las Vegas.
My wife was mad at me so she told @johnyates327 lies to drum up support for her.
I will make sure you are both prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I have to stand up and say no more.
