Unai Emery has ruled out making any permanent signings this month

In their FA Cup third-round tie against Blackpool, Arsenal coach Unai Emery gave a number of exciting young players the opportunity to strut their stuff.

He said: "We can not sign permanently". Together, the pair won the Europa League.

While the club work on loan targets, Emery also said he would be content to work with the current crop of players at his disposal. "At the moment, we haven't had any news today about that". We can only loan players.

"Only loan players. I don't know his [Suarez] situation now. I know the club is working on possibilities of which players can help us with big performances like we need now".

Spanish reports have also linked Arsenal with a move for Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega, who has also thrived under Emery's management in the past.

Emery has talked up the 30-year-old's quality during the January window, having worked with him at Sevilla. I know these players and they are very good players.

He added: "We are working with the players who are with us now. I want his behaviour and his focus to be on West Ham on Saturday".

Arsenal are fifth in the Premier League, just outside the Champions League qualification places, and play West Ham United away tomorrow lunchtime. Shkodran Mustafi and Konstantinos Mavropanos are all back in full training and under consideration for the weekend.
