The grand title of who is King or Queen of any given genre is not an easy decision but it's clear that many think Jacquees is simply not there yet.

Jacquees is feeling himself right now and he doesn't show signs of slowing down.

The 24-year-old artist said in a video shared online, "I just wanna let everybody know that I'm the king of R&B right now, for this generation".

On Tuesday, Snoop Dizzle went to Instagram to playfully crown himself the real king of crooning.

Depending on what era you were born in, you would have been exposed to different R&B kings, but when Jacquees came out to say that he was the king, the internet lost its chill. It's a doozy of a thread and hilarious. but it leaves me asking what kind of music does john make? is he left out of this?

Jacquees maybe a king but not of R&B. Anyone consistently dominating the charts, selling out arenas, etc, a la Usher at his prime.

The Atlanta singer is now getting hammered on Twitter for saying that he is the "King of R&B" music. "I'm the king of R&B". "You spelt my name wrong twin", Jacquees responded to the "Honey" singer's tweet. Let us know on Twitter!
