Will the alleged drama between the two royals keep the family from spending the holidays together? Now it looks like they have changed their plans.

Meghan's husband Prince Harry is historically close with former President Barack Obama, hanging out with him and Joe Biden at the 2017 Invictus Games and interviewing him for a BBC radio story that broadcast later that year, with Obama joking that he was a fan of Suits, the drama that famously starred Meghan during her acting days.

As Meghan has come under fire for her lavish wardrobe choices, it could be fairly argued that her sister-in-law has been strategically recycling almost every outfit in recent weeks, not only positioning herself as the more thrifty royal, but also ensuring the wow factor when she debuts something new, as she did last night. Prince Williamand Kate met with men and women separated from their loved ones over the festive period as they took part in operations against Islamic State (IS).

Despite reports that the Duchesses do not get along due to their wildly different personalities, the two women will have to put up with each other at Christmas, making the family reunion not so jolly.

One report surfaced claiming Meghan "made the Duchess of Cambridge cry" during a fitting for Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid fitting.

Guests described the event as "one of the best" as they left afterwards, citing Meghan's reading and a speech from Harry among the highlights.

Kensington Palace has denied all of these claims. William and Kate Middleton did not attend, as they were at Buckingham Palace for the Queen's evening reception for members of the diplomatic corps.

Kate and William are believed to be hosting Harry and Meghan this Christmas. "Any issues are between the brothers".

Meghan Markle was lending her support to the Association of Commonwealth Universities, which comes off the back of her rousing speech in Fiji on further studies.
