After launching Oppo F9 Pro and Oppo Find X flagship smartphones in India, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is now all set to launch a new smartphone in India under its R-series. However, we have spotted a recent development on Oppo India's official Twitter page which hints towards the launch of a new phone and we're expecting it might be the R17 Pro which will be launched next in India. Something new is coming up. While Oppo has not revealed which model it plans to bring to India first, many believe it could be the R17 Pro - the device that features a Snapdragon 710 processor and triple rear-facing cameras on the back.
Also, looking at the teaser a bit closely, it appears that Oppo is gearing up for the R17 Pro launch in India. The teaser video gif shows off a phone with a bright, pink colour on the right edge of the screen.
Even then, the Oppo R17 Pro doesn't hold up to the OnePlus 6T benchmark when it comes to performance. Both the variants sport a waterdrop-shaped display notch, and an in-display fingerprint scanner as well. Oppo during its China launch said the colors blend as such that it gives a flow with the light and shadow on R17 Pro's back. The screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
Oppo R17 Pro India Launch Expected Soon, Features Triple Rear Camera Setup
For the camera, the Oppo A7 is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 2-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture. The main camera is coupled with a 20MP shooter and the third camera has a 3D depth sensor. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 710 SoC with an octa-core CPU, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The triple camera setup consists of a 12MP primary camera with a variable aperture (f/1.5 to f/2.4) that adjusts automatically to lighting conditions. The A7 also features the following sensors: accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and proximity sensor.
The Oppo R17 Pro is fuelled by a 3,700mAh battery that is powered by Oppo's proprietary Super VOOC technology. On the front, the Oppo R17 Pro flaunts a 25MP Sony IMX576 sensor.
