Basketball celebrity LaMaelo Ball is taking his talents to Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, and those involved with the program are excited about the addition of such a big name.
Ball is expected to make his OH high school debut in the next few days. The school is located less than 50 miles from Cleveland. The company that paid for the billboard, Overtime, is a sports highlight website.
But Jackson isn't alone, as a billboard welcoming Ball to OH has put up in his honor.
Thankfully, LaMelo was thrown a rope (of his choosing) last week, when chose to reenlist in an OH prep school, just in time for his Senior year. Ball originally went to Chino Hills High School in California - where he once scored 92 points in a game - before leaving to play pro ball in Lithuania. So we thought it would be pretty epic to celebrate his return to high school with a billboard, playing on another famous Cleveland billboard.
LaMelo, along with Jackson and LaVar Ball, just hosted a media event at the Spire Academy in OH where the 17-year-old will play this season. and they're HYPED UP! Presently, the 1-10 Cavaliers could conceivably be in possession of one of those future top picks, though they'll definitely be considering other candidates besides Ball.
