Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are getting ready for a battle in court over custody of their six kids. The court date comes months after the pair agreed to a temporary arrangement that awarded Pitt more time with his kids.
The two have been feuding over the custody of their brood ever since Jolie filed for divorce in 2016.
Judge John Ouderkirk will oversee the upcoming court trial.
It is expected the courtroom will be sealed off to anyone other than the parties involved because of the involvement of minors. Jolie and Pitt later became one of the most publicized couples in the American media, and Pitt stood by her side when she made the hard decision to undergo a preventative double mastectomy for her high risk of breast cancer.
Even though there are many reports that put Brad Pitt into relationships with various women, including his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, he is still single and not dating.
Recall that in late summer the spouses allegedly managed to agree on custody of their children.
The custody battle is only a part of the divorce settlement. Entertainment Tonight notes that the two reached an interim agreement in August of this year.
Fans of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt can hopefully get news about how the former couple's custody trail goes within the next two to three weeks - the timeline that the custody trial is supposed to take place. Both sides have been clear about wanting to prioritize the health and happiness of their children no matter what.
