The hassles of flying coach were apparently too much for Tara Reid, who was booted from a Delta flight on Monday.
A spokesperson for Delta confirmed to Fox News that "Delta flight 613 from Los Angeles to New York JFK-International returned to the gate, prior to takeoff, due to a customer disturbance on board". "Flight attendants tried diffusing the situation", TMZ adds, "but it was too little, too late". According to TMZ, which obtained video of the incident, Reid flew into a "rage" over her seat and lack of a pillow, and was proving a huge nuisance. So he had flight attendants inform her that she and her pooch must deplane.
"Delta apologizes to the remaining customers for the inconvenience and appreciates their patience as the situation was resolved", the spokesperson continued, noting that "the flight redeparted for NY following a short delay".
The 5ft5 beauty, who had a small dog with her, did not put up a fight and left without incident, according to the outlet, which noted that authorities were not summoned. "Further, she says she was cramped in her seat because the woman in front of her had reclined", the publication reports.
Police were not called, and Reid caught another flight, USA Today reported.
