Chiefs will play back to back Sunday football games after Oct. 21 game moved

The Bengals-Chiefs tilt replaces the originally scheduled game of the Los Angeles Rams (5-0) visiting the San Francisco 49ers (1-4), which will now be shown on CBS at 4:25 p.m. ET.

NBC's Sunday Night Football picked the game up after both teams had an impressive first quarter to the 2018 season. Cincinnati had not been scheduled another nationally televised game. The Rams are set to face Denver on Sunday afternoon. They take on the New England Patriots this Sunday at 7:20 p.m. The Bengals now sit at 4-1 atop the AFC North.

Chiefs fans were excited about the game being flexed to Sunday night.

- Week 17 start time changes could be decided on 6 days notice to ensure a game with playoff implications.

At 5-0, the Chiefs are one of two remaining unbeaten teams and boast a high-flying attack led by Mahomes that should help goose prime-time ratings. From there, any number of games can be moved, so that's where the bulk of the flex scheduling will come into play.
