"Thereafter, the police recorded a statement of her father and lodged an FIR for rioting and causing damage to her auto", her lawyer Nitin Satpute told News18 in Mumbai.
Yesterday Mr Satpute also submitted a 40-page document on Ms Dutta's behalf to the Mumbai police and the Maharashtra State Women's Commission, in support of her allegations against Mr Patekar and others.
Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan had denied to say anything on the Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar controversy. "However, we requested them to write it in English so that what happened 10 years ago would not happen again", Nitin Satpute said.
A directive has been issued to all cine and television associations to form committees for redressal of such complaints. Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, director Rakesh Sarang, producer Samee Siddiqui were booked for molestation and obscenity under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Tanushree has alleged that Patekar misbehaved with her on the sets of the film in 2008. She has accused him of behaving aggressively during the shooting of the 2008 film which resulted in her opting out of the film.
As a retort, Patekar slapped Dutta with a legal notice and demanded a written apology from her.
Dutta complained the same to the authorities, but, new steps were introduced by Acharya, which were intimate and included Patekar touching her inappropriately, she alleged. The actor further said she was being "forced and pressurized" to do the steps and after she refused, the producer threatened to defame her. Her lawyer stated that many parts of the complaint were not mentioned and the FIR was filed only for the offence of causing damage to her vehicle and riot.
Mr Patekar has rejected the allegations of sexual harassment on the sets of "Horn Ok Pleasss", while shooting for a special dance number for the film.
