Johnson looked slender as she added high-waisted black leggings to her look and carried a light pink sweatshirt and brown purse over her shoulder.
The granddaughter of The Birds actress Tippi Hedren had her hair up and wore black sunglasses. She flashed her bright smile as she made her way into the show.
She quipped: "Well, the only thing I'm pregnant with is a lot of really good ideas, but not any babies".
Speaking to Ellen, Johnson said the balloons were let loose by accident and insisted she isn't expecting a child.
Ellen couldn't help but ask her about the pregnancy rumours. "But not any babies". "They were just in an arch, but I guess that accidentally happened one of the ends just got let go". When the line of blue balloons could be seen released into the air from outside the party, media reports surfaced saying the actress was pregnant.
Hours after the story was published, Dakota's representatives denied she was expecting a baby, insisting that the balloons were in fact in honour of her 29th birthday, which she celebrated on October 4.
On Sunday Dakota's celebrity pals gathered at her boyfriend's Malibu home for what was rumored to be a gender reveal party.
Johnson, who was sporting a fake tattoo from a pinata on her arm, continues: "A lot of people congratulated me".

Chris and Dakota are believed to be dating for a year now. The couple met through mutual friends and were spotted together on a trip earlier this year, which confirmed that they are together.
Chris is already a dad of two - Apple, 14, and Moses, 12 - with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
