This seems to indicate that the Mate 20 or Mate 20 Pro could have wireless charging as well.

One of the minor new products that we were expecting to see at Apple's fall iPhone event last week was a new wireless charging case for Apple's signature AirPods. Wireless charging will be a bit slower, but still, a great option for when you're on the go.

Most newer Android phones can charge other devices for a while now, but you need a cable to do that. When paired to a Mate 20 or Mate 20 Pro, they can be used to interact with the Google Assistant.

Unfortunately, wireless charging is a sore spot for Apple right now.

Huawei's AirPods-imitating Freebuds earbuds may launch alongside the company's next flagship smartphone and perform a neat wireless charging trick to boot.

With a rumoured price of around $249 at launch, the Freebuds 2 Pro will not be cheap, but with the features they offer, I'd suggest they'll be a popular accessory for the Mate 20 range.

According to a report by German outlet WinFuture, both devices will support wireless charging, and you'll be able to charge the FreeBuds 2 Pro simply by placing their case on the back of the Mate 20. It appears a total of 20 hours of play may be possible off a single charge of the case, so the case itself will probably hold around 6 charges. The headphones come with noise reduction and use AI tech to distinguish between the user's voice and everyone else's. In addition to similarities in the design, the leaked renders and images hinted at a new functionality that Huawei may add to the Freebuds 2 Pro.
