Samsung has scheduled an event in Malaysia on October 11, where the company is expected to launch a new smartphone under its Galaxy lineup.

The word "capture" in the invite also suggests it's camera related. Overall, the smartphone could have five or more cameras if we take into account the front-facing camera as well. However, we'd already written about the Galaxy Note9, Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Tab S4 with S Pen and DeX.

On Friday, Samsung released invitations for the launch of a new device at a Galaxy event on October 11.

Samsung has announced a surprising launch event for a Galaxy device it says will bring "more ways to express yourself than ever before". But it seems pretty likely it'll be camera-related. However, it does not provide any specifications of the cameras.

So maybe Samsung's mysterious invite is referring to a plethora of cameras, or maybe not.

The iPhone XS can also cost as much as £1,349 for a model with. I don't know, the number of colours that the Galaxy S10 is available in. All the current flagships, including the Galaxy Note 9, come with 2X optical zoom and offering 4X zoom could actually mean a significant bump in the camera capabilities.
