Google teases the Pixel 3 without giving much away

Earlier this month, Google sent out invites for its latest "Made by Google" event.

Google is hosting an event on October 9th in New York City, and both the teasers for the event and the timing of it suggest that new Pixel phones are coming. Google's first teaser for the much-anticipated Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL couldn't be subtler, yet convey the message loud and clear.

There are a total of two teasers that have been published. If you visit the Google Store page that we've linked at the bottom of the article, you'll be welcomed by a big "3" number alongside a "Get the scoop" sign-up button to keep you informed about what's cooking in the Google's labs. This year, the search giant is expected to come with a new colour option to make Pixel 3 devices stand out from the crowd.

On the interactive page, if you click on the "G" symbol on the phone, you see three versions of the animation, one that's grey, one that's black and one that's a new mint-green shade. The third color scheme is green/turquoise with that same green accent we saw in the white/gray one.

So, there you have it - not only has Google confirmed that the Pixel 3 will indeed be at its October event (something we assumed already), but it has apparently also confirmed the colors the phone will be available in.

Which color you want?
