Speculation includes talk that Apple will introduce three new iPhone models

Apple's Gather Round event is just a few days from now and we're still seeing leaks regarding different aspects of the devices to be unveiled.

The pictures, shared by Ben Geskin on Twitter, reveal that the new 6.1 inch LCD iPhone will be available in four colours: red, white, space gray and rose gold.

"Apple's decision to launch three iPhone devices this week is a strategic move to regain footing in multiple areas of the mobile market", he said.

After 9to5Mac brought the name iPhone XS Max into play last week for the largest of the new models, the name iPhone XS Plus is again mentioned on the slide.

So, the iPhone XS Max will be the most expensive iPhone, but will probably be a little less expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

There's also a possibility that this year's iPhone models could feature Gorilla Glass 6, a new formulation that was reportedly created to focus more on reducing the incidence of shattered displays than on scratch resistance. Some analysts are even predicting that upwards of 50% of all iPhone sales next year will come from the 6.1-inch model. But now, since Apple has sent out media invites for the event to be held on September 12 at the Steve Jobs theatre, we'll finally get to know how much of these rumors actually appear on the phones.

The good news is that all of Apple's new iPhone models will reportedly launch in September.

We've also seen speculative reports claiming that the 6.1-inch iPhone will introduce a new "Cover Glass Sensor" that will see the device's touch module moved from the display panel right up to the surface of the glass.

Finally, there have also been reports of a new, cheaper iPhone, created to replace the current iPhone 8 and 8 Plus as the entry-level Apple smartphone. This new premium iPhones from the Apple will carry an aluminum chassis.

Apple also introduced two other models, the iPhone XS, which is an update to the iPhone X, with more power, and a lower priced, $750 6.1-inch model, the iPhone XR. In fact, we have already seen a gold iPhone in 2018 - the iPhone X that was believed to be canceled prior to the launch of iPhone past year. Some models, however, may come with 3GB of RAM, especially the budget model. It will be a little bigger or smaller than the iPhone 8 Plus. The iPhone X, meanwhile, has a Dh661.50 disparity between its own 64GB and 256GB offerings. But, you won't be able to buy the charger separately. If history is any indication, iPhone Xs pre-orders will open up on Friday, September 14 ahead of a release on September 21.

The new iPhones are also expected to come with a dual SIM card slot. But it's unclear on which model will the feature be available and whether it be available only for the China market, These queries will hopefully be answered on Wednesday 10 am PDT (10 pm IST).

Both iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will run on the iOS 12 software.
