The report claims that Mina and Gomes have both completed medicals for the club and will be officially confirmed as Everton players shortly.

On Thursday evening, Barcelona officially announced the transfer of Yerry Mina to Everton, although the Catalan club will have the option to repurchase the player if they so desire. It is the best league in the world.

"Bernard is a great player, a player for the Brazilian national team, and I also followed his progress with Atletico Mineiro", Richarlison said on Wednesday. Everton agreed a €2.25m (£2.02m) loan fee for the 25-year-old, who now has a minor injury but passed a medical held in Barcelona, and will pay his wages in full for the season.

"FC Barcelona would like to publicly express their thanks to Yerry Mina for his commitment and dedication and wishes him all the best for the future".

Andre Gomes, Barcelona's Portuguese central midfielder, has been loaned to Everton.

The 23-year-old only joined Barcelona from Palmeiras in the January transfer window.

Gomes has always been a fringe player at Barcelona, despite signing for a fee of £31m plus €20m in add-ons in 2016, with only 46 appearances made in La Liga since joining from Valencia.

The 25-year-old has been capped 29 times by Portugal and was part of the squad that won the European Championships in 2016.

The relationship between Barcelona and Everton is believed to be strong, with left-back Lucas Digne already moving to Goodison Park from the Nou Camp in this window.
