According to a UK Sun report, the Red Devils squad members are now on tour of the United States of America with a mixed blend of experienced stars who did not play any role at the 2018 World Cup as well as youngsters that include the trio of Angel Gomes, Tahith Chong and RoShaun Williams.
This paves the way for United to fully focus on bringing in a new centre-back before the window slams shut, and the club have identified Leicester City star Harry Maguire as a key target.
The Portuguese boss wants to add a commanding centre-back to his squad this summer but will need to get one out first with Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling subject to enquiries.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise since coming through the ranks at Sheffield United as he made his name during a three-year spell at Hull City before making a £17m move to the King Power last summer.
Backed by Southgate at the start of England's World Cup campaign, Maguire produced a host of authoritative performances at the heart of the Three Lions defence, and he also showed his goal-scoring prowess from corners, as he headed England ahead against Sweden in the quarter-final.
Leicester will offer Maguire a new £75,000-a-week contract in response, however, which they hope will be enough to persuade him to stay.
