Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle to attend Serena Williams-Kerber match

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, right, sit in the Royal Box on Centre Court ahead of the women's singles final match between Serena Williams of the U.S. and Angelique Kerber of Germany at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, in London, Saturday July 14, 2018.

Saturday became the day of the duchesses when Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, made their first solo outing together.

As her and William watched the men's singles final, Kate rocked a sunny Dolce & Gabbana number, which sells for around $1,520.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex were greeted by cheers as they arrived at Wimbledon.

So over the weekend, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton went to Wimbledon.

For her first appearance in the box, alongside sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry's wife chose to wear a blue striped shirt and cream high-waisted pants by Ralph Lauren and a bag by Alturzarra. "Every year for a couple years she comes out to Wimbledon and has supported me".

Williams, who gave birth 10 months ago, is the first mother to reach the last round of the tournament since Australian Evonne Goolagong in 1980.

Taking another small break from her maternity leave, Kate wore a breezy white dress with polka-dots by Jenny Packham.

Williams has described her friendship with the newlywed as wonderful, and in the past Meghan has attended the championships to cheer the 36-year-old from her player's box.

Williams and her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, were amongst guests at Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry's May 19 royal wedding.

Thomas Markle says she looks terrified while the press is reporting her to be very happy on a recent trip to Dublin, Ireland where she dined out with Prince Harry.

Williams has previously said that she she was delighted the duchess would be coming to watch her play. Markle, with the advantage, wasn't in attendance on Sunday, but we don't blame her.

"I'm sure you will have your next grand slam title".
