‘World’s Ugliest Dog’ Zsa Zsa dies at 9 years old

The world’s ugliest dog Zsa Zsa the English Bulldog has died

Zsa Zsa died in her sleep, according to her owner, Megan Brainard of Anoka, Minnesota, who called the pup's death "devastating". "I'm in shock still", she told CNN sister network HLN.

Zsa Zsa went from enduring years living in a puppy mill to being adopted by a family and finally to winning fame and fans.

Zsa Zsa gained worldwide attention after winning the 2018 World's Ugliest Dog contest last month, which was held in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Its upper teeth were nearly horizontal and it also had a pronounced underbite.

Journalists of NBC said that the dog MS, MS, received the title of ugliest dog in the world died. Put up for auction after her breeding years were done, she was bought by an animal rescue group before making her way to Brainard's home.

Zha-Zha was found in a nursery in Missouri at the age of five.

The annual competition started out as a parody of the more traditional pure-breed dog contests.

The English bulldog was reportedly named after Hungarian-American actress Zsa Zsa Gabor.

"She never really showed much excitement but yes, she was definitely living it up after she won".
