Prince Louis' Godparents Revealed After Queen Elizabeth Announces She Would Not Attend

Prince Harry buys 1926 first edition of Winnie-the Pooh for nephew Louis's christening

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be attending Louis’s christening today

Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip did not attend the christening. Later this week, she will host President Donald Trump for a meeting at Windsor Castle.

The Queen spoke proudly as the RAF's Air Commodore-in-Chief and also in remembrance of the Battle of Britain, in which her father King George VI served.

The christening itself is quite the family tradition, Royal Central U.K. notes, adding Prince Louis also wore a replica of the now-famous Honiton lace christening gown.

Pippa Middleton, who is expecting her first baby in the fall, was among the first of the guests to arrive at the chapel.

Louis will have six godparents, including close friends and family members of the royal couple.

Princess Charlotte took centre stage at her little brother Prince Louis's christening yesterday as she showed off her cheeky side.

Accompanying the duchess was Prince William, who held Princess Charlotte and Prince George by the hand. Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, wore an army green Ralph Lauren dress and hat by Stephen Jones.

She is also godmother to Princess Charlotte.

Others were quick to notice the resemblance of Pippa's dress to the "matronly" Alexander McQueen dress Duchess Kate sported at her younger sister's nuptials back in May.
